Continuing Education Credits

 

Continuing Privacy Education (CPE) Credits 

The 2021 World Technology Law Summit has been pre-approved for a maximum of 12 CPE credits for IAPP certificate holders. 

Instructions to receive CPE credit

  • Make sure to track for your CPE hours 
  • You will only be able to receive credit for each session title once so you can submit for a live session OR a rebroadcast session with the same title
  • Each session on the agenda page will note available credits
  • Download the instructions to self-report for your CPE credits.  

 

 

 

 


​Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Credits 

Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Credit: Accreditation has been requested for the 2021 World Technology Law Conference for the states listed below with general mandatory continuing legal education requirements for all lawyers admitted in that state:

Approved States

  • IL: Approved for a maximum of 14 live credit hours and for a maximum of 3.5 rebroadcast session hours separately
    • You will only be able to receive credit for each session title once so you can submit for a live session OR a rebroadcast session with the same title 
    • Each session on the agenda page will note available credits
    • Make sure to complete an Attendee Affidavit during the Conference and include session numbers as reported during the conference
    • Please sign and submit your completed forms back to memberservices@itechlaw.org by Friday, June 11, 2021. 
    • ITechLaw will report attendance by July 31, 2021

New York credits are available through reciprocity with Illinois: To understand how New York attorneys may participate in out-of-state courses to satisfy the New York CLE requirement please review the New York's Approved Jurisdiction Policy
